I want to share this experience so it doesn't happen to someone else. Transport Kings was one of the most incompetent companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My vehicle was not only never moved but I was continually given false information and had it not been for my unrelenting persistence I may have never even heard from the company after giving them my deposit. Here is my story: On October 18, 2010 I booked with a man named Dennis over the phone to have my Ford Expedition shipped from the Panhandle of Florida to Oregon. Dennis and I went through the details truck to be picked up between Dec7th- Dec17th and delivered accordingly. Well... on Dec. 13th I called Dennis to check on the status seeing I had heard nothing since Oct. He said someone would pickup on or before the 17th. 17th came and went I began calling and calling. Dennis would not return my calls and as days followed and I continued to call the 1-800 number I was continually passed of to voice mails hung up on or put on hold only for someone to pick up and put me on hold again. As my frustration grew I finally got an Alex on the phone who was semi helpful but would tell me there was nothing they could do. Then I reached a Robert who I was told was a manager and he too was full of info. but no help to my situation. As it turns out there were no routes even going from Florida to Oregon. I understand the way the transport works now and as a "broker" they are at the mercy of the drivers. However- this ordeal would have been far less aggravating if someone would have told me the truth. No one would ever call me back I had to call their offices repeatedly for days to get anywhere. Finally 23 days after the first day of scheduled pick up and 2 1/2 months after early booking I canceled my order. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY it was a nightmare!! Currently filing a complaint with the BBC about this incident.
