From the very beginning my rep, Eric C. was a complete joy to work with. He gave me the assurance that my move would be managed/executed properly and that all stages of the move would be communicated with accuracy and consistency. My advice to anyone moving is threefold: 1) Take responsibility in communicating IN DETAIL everything you own, write it down, number it, pack every box, number each box and then once you're done, BREATHE. 2) Make sure you're DETAILED with your rep, and get every part of the paperwork right the first time (be pushy but not rude to get it done right, it makes a difference down the line). 3) Make sure you communicate WITH YOUR REP in every step of your move... Eric was a doll and to be honest, I wish now that I had communicated with him more. Every step of the way I had 3 more people I communicated with, the Quality-Control person, the Customer Service (money-person) who gave me additional details. But I wish I had called Eric directly. When it came down to moving day, the LOAD OUT of my house was great, swift, the guys were nice. They had hired a very nice company out of L.A. for me to move my stuff from California to Oregon. Be sure to communicate to the actual movers-when they're in your house, of exactly what your rep quoted you. There should be NO suprises on "oh this needs to be boxed" because you should have already worked it out ahead of time. I did, and I was pushy with my rep, and ultimately the moving company did what I told them (and no extra charges). Delivery of my stuff ran a little long in time, but ultimately to World Moving, they're a nice mediation between the "somewhat hard to understand and wobbly" ways of the moving companies. They make it Feel ok. My advice, if you choose to use World Moving, please use your original sales/detail rep as much as possible. Thanks Eric! Take care! -C
