Sold us a broken washer and will not replace, buyers beware:
Recently my husband bought a Whirlpool washer and dryer set from Warehouse Discount Center on State Street in Santa Barbara. Within the first use we realized the washer was not draining the water. This caused either the water to spill all over the floor when we opened it or we would have to set it to the "drain and spin" cycle multiple times until it eventually drained. The washer is defective. Warehouse Discount center assumed it must have been installed incorrectly and referred us out to a repair man. The repair man has been a nightmare to deal with. Getting him to return phone calls to come out has been like pulling teeth and he also is very unprofessional and rude. He eventually came out, did something to make the washer drain and declared the washer "fixed." He was at our house for all of 5 minutes. Anyway, the washer is not 'fixed' and continues to not drain. We have had the same repair man at our house around four separate times. Each time he is at our house for less then 10 minutes, does something to make it drain and assumes it is fixed. Warehouse discount center also considers it to be fixed because their repair man proclaims it as such even though it clearly isn't. I think the repair man is defective as well. The sales representative and manager at the discount center also have been horrible at returning my husband's phone calls and have lied to us telling us they will replace the machine but nothing has been done except giving us the runaround regarding our machine. Did I mention this has been going on for two months now? Also, we have purchased our entire kitchen from this discount center in labels ranging from Thermador to Viking so that makes us even more shocked and disappointed that they have treated us so awful. Essentially they sold us a broken machine, refuse to replace it and insisting it is not broken (which is so strange; why would we want to replace a working machine?!) and have been completely unprofessional, and clearly don't care about their customers. Shame on Warehouse Discount Center. We plan on taking this further.
