I moved from Sacramento to Long Beach over 15 months ago; I like many others had a terrible move; I don't normally post anything online but I was looking up moving companies for a friend and saw Universal and had to write this review.
A firm that did not love up to their commitment, they tried to have me sign a damage waiver before the move, did not have enough packing materials and left many of our items under sinks and in closets.
This is a terrible company, they broke items and over time we found items missing; like many others court was to much of a hassle, this company never sent us a check for the missing and broke items, even after we took pictures filled out forms and was ask to jump through hoops like a clown.
I hope that this company goes out of business, I am ready to file a class action case, I get upset thinking abut calling this company and getting someone who sounds like he just woke up telling me to call back tomorrow when the owner was in, he forgot that I spoke to him 3 weeks before and he said he was the owner.
Don't roll the dice on this firm, you're better off staying put...
