My name is Danielle and I am writing to review my experience moving with United States Van Lines. I actually found them through their Twitter page @USVLmoves as I was searching for #movers. They sent me a message and told me to call for a quote and so I did. I didn't know much about the company nor I did any type of research for my move... I was desperate to move so I just called and got a quote. I did the same with 2 other companies and they ended up being the cheapest and offered me more for my money.
I booked my move and just last night the movers delivered everything in my home. I had no issues with customer service other than having to call several times as they are always busy. But, overall it was a nice experience, They always answered all my questions and were always very willing to help. They put me in contact with one of their dispatchers who kept me on the loop of everything regarding the truck, the mover and the delivery. So, regardless of the reviews I've seen online, I can only speak for myself and say that it was a pleasant experience, good quote and all my items are here without me lifting a single finger.
My suggestion to anyone using this company or any other is that you need to plan ahead. Do not call the day before you need to move and expect everything to be fine. I did it with time and always called to check on my move... i would say at least twice a day, not the day of the move. So just be patient and keep this things in mind.
