I have participated in several other survey companies, and this is by far the worst.
I wouldn't call them a scam, they might be operating within the limits of the law, but they make it difficult to collect enough completed surveys to qualify for the minimum cashout amount.
One way is to mysteriously have completed surveys not be credited.
In their short time I have been a customer, they have simply not credited until I complained, or omitted critical information, such as the date of completion, or reference number of the survey, so that a complaint could not be filed.
The customer service is a joke, and is difficult to get the overseas customer help to go off script and actually directly answer my questions.
To summarize, united sample, or surveyhead doesn't deserve the bbb tout. They only reluctantly pay out long after they have collected funds from the outside contractor, or simply keep all of the money when customers "give up" and stop taking surveys all together, with US pocketing the entire amount of the inactive account.
