Run away from this company. Based on my experience I think they are merely SCAM ARTISTS!

On April 18, 2011 I was sold an Extended Warranty for 1560.00. I paid in full as I was told it would be considerably less to do so. We sold the car recently, and had not filed any claims against the policy. I applied for a refund and was told that I was entitled to $634.00. I kept called to find out when I would be receiving my refund but was told that the insurance company and administrator had gone out of business and nobody was liable to honor the contract. I was never told by U.S. Direct that my money was going to be sent to another company and that they were just a "broker". The office manager at U.S. Direct and I quote told me "she didn't care" that I was out all that money and that they were completely innocent. Well, I think that they take your money and give it to "associates" of theirs who then go out of business so that nobody has to take responsibility. This is my opinion based on my direct experience with U.S. Direct. Everybody there is passing the buck. They told me the BBB is out of business. I believe they ripped me off and they "don't care"; just like the office manager told me. The recording can be looked up.
