Breached contract and stole money
|
We have had a terrible experience with Starkart. Initially, the ads were placed as agreed in the shopping carts at Kroger. Then shortly after, Kroger got new shopping carts and our ads were removed. We called Starkart and they said it wasn't their problem and we should contact Kroger. We reminded them that our contract was with them, not Kroger, and it was their responsibility to uphold their end of the contract. They didn't know the ads were taken down and didn't know how long they had been down. After talking to several people in the company, we were finally anle to talk to a VP of Robbins Media group who agreed to put the ads back up and add on some time to the end of the contract. Then in March they automatically billed us for continuation of services in August! 5 months early. We requested the funds be returned as we had no intention of continuing our relationship with them. They claimed that their denial of the refund was within the bounds of the contract but the contract clearly says payment will be made 90 days in advance. Dealing with them has been terrible from the start. Everyone we have talked to has been rude and made it very clear that they have no intention of keeping their customers happy. Avoid them at all cost. There are other, less frustrating ways to market your business.
