I remember well the call I made to your office on February 29th. Spencer answered the phone. I described to him the difficulty I had been having with the use of alcohol and expressed what I saw as my need for help in stopping its use. Spencer's response was "I think we can help you" and that lead me to stop in the following Monday and the decision to begin immediately with your program. Now with having completed nearly six weeks of therapy, counseling and sobriety I feel that the decision I made that day was one of the better ones I've made in my life.
On the threshold of completing the Serenity Life program for alcohol abuse, I can say that have appreciated the insights I have received in the personality testing analysis, the one-on-one therapy with members of your staff and the counseling provided by you. Through this process I have acquired an understanding of myself as an alcoholic and have decided to abandon my self destructive behaviors in favor of allowing myself to grow in positive, life-sustaining ways. The key to this of course is realizing that a better life awaits me in sobriety. I am filled with hope for my future and gratitude for the gift I have been given.
