I returned dvd's I rented over 3 weeks ago. The Redbox machine said my dvd's were received/accepted. Today, I noticed a $32.50 charge on my bank card from Redbox. I called customer service & according to them, the dvd's were returned backwards. So I was charged late charges from Oct.4-15, for dvd's that they already had in their possession. It took them 11 days to figure out the dvd's were already there. I don't recall returning the dvd's backwards, so I asked for the charge to be removed. At first, the customer service lady offered me 5 promo codes ($5)for movies. When I refused, she offered to return $10 to my bank card. When I still refused & asked to speak to a manager, she offered to refund $16.25 to my bank card. I insisted on speaking to a manager. She said the best she could do was refund half the amount. I told her to go ahead & that I would be calling my bank as soon as I hung up the phone. I also told her that I would NEVER be doing business with them again and would tell all my family and friends to do the same. In addition, I let her know that I would be reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau. These are tough times. $32 dollars, even $16 is a lot of money to be thrown away. The dvd's were returned, and so should my money!!
