Nightmare Experience - Unprofessional - Buyer Beware!

BUYER BEWARE--Booked 2 RT tickets to India for Dec/Jan at a low advertised rate (how they lure you in). 2 weeks before the flight, I call Continental to confirm and hear the tickets were cancelled. Call & e-mail Puja 5 times--no response. Continental sends proof that PUJA cancelled tickets without notifying us! Forced to book last-min airfare for $2k more, original flight was sold-out. Threatened legal action and 2 days before departing I get an email ensuring I would be refunded from Puja (no explanation). 6 months goes by--over 40 emails, few dozen excuses, and many empty promises of paying back. Kept me on hold over an hour a few times, played dumb, hung-up, more excuses & empty promises, and ultimately didn’t return any of my e-mails or calls. Dispute with Amex resulted in Continental providing us legal docs to pursue Puja in court as PUJA STILL HAS OUR MONEY, not them. Feel taken advantage of and have hired a local attorney to pursue legal action. Filed complaint with Attorney General and BBB. I am still out over $4k, won’t rest until I get every penny.
