My bank (FifthThird Bank) made a payment to Owtel by mistake through there bill pay system. Well...in the disclaimer it lets you know that they are not responsible for any errors made and it is your responsibility to get the money returned...(I will be leaving 53rd bank soon). I call Owtel about getting a refund and they are telling me 6 weeks! I wrote them a long message basically telling them, If my money is not refunded to me in a reasonable amount of time...I will file charges and go to small claims court in Chicago.
For you people getting screwed on money by Owtel, I think it would also be a good idea for you to do the same thing. You can't let them get away with this...I don't care if it's $2.00, don't let them get away with this. This is the USA and we have rights. Please people, Use them, and together lets make them pay back what is owed.
