Horrible company to deal with if there's a problem. In our case, the store made three deliveries of defective furniture. The first time the delivery men dropped the glass top and broke it. The second delivery, the store had the delivery company (yes, the delivery company, not the manufacturer) fashion a new glass top and it was too big. The third time, they had the delivery company cut down the glass top and it was too small. Owner refuses to speak directly with us.
Store now refuses to deliver (4th attempt) unless we drop our dispute of the credit card charge prior to their making a delivery. The dispute is that they have failed to deliver the furniture in proper condition. Why should the customer have to drop the dispute and in effect acknowledge that there's no longer a problem BEFORE having the furniture delivered? The owner, through his rep at the store, will not deliver without us releasing him from further obligation. Sounds a little unfair, don't you think?
We offered to drop the dispute immediately after inspecting the furniture, but that's not good enough for the owner. The owner has the gall to distrust the customer, when he's failed at 3 deliveries. How is that good customer service?
Stay clear of this store unless you're willing to be hassled and be treated unfairly. The last delivery of defective merchandise occurred the end of April, 2009. Expect the store to now try to sue or press a 50% restocking fee rather than deliver the furniture to us first so we can make sure it's in good condition -after 3 bad deliveries, you'd think they'd own up to their problems and do the right thing for the customer.
I would rate this store 0 stars, but that wan't an option.
