Keep away from this cheating company
This is the first time I use car shipping company which turns out to be a nightmare and a lesson. I put my information on line and received many quotes. I found this “Newway Moving” since their price is cheap and actually their service is also cheap! I
called their phone in middle July and this person named “Summer” answered my call. She confidently told me that my car can be picked up between August 5th and August 7th, and will be delivered to my destination before August 14th. I was too naïve so that I
trusted her, signed their so called contract and paid the deposit without searching any reviews of their company. I did not hear from them any more after paying the deposit until August 6th. And I called them again. This time the person “Summer” speak with
cold voice and said they can only ensure the car being picked before August 15th as mentioned in the contract. Then she transferred the call to her manager and the manager said I can add more than $250 to make it a rush shipping. I told her that I may consider
that and ask her to find a driver that can pick up my car before August 6th. Her manager promised in the phone that she’ll call me back that day. I did not hear from them anymore, and the following calls go to automatic voice mails. Then, I started to search
their reviews online and get shocked. Almost all useful reviews are terrible and these victims all have the similar experiences as me. I would like to first mention their vague “contract”: i) There are three way of shipping mentioned: rush shipping which is
within three days of the first available date, medium which is five days and slow which is 10 days. However, they do not mention clearly that which category your service belongs to. ii) The pickup date will be 2-4 business days before transport date (here,
we can calculate that this belongs to the rush shipping) or after (here, we can calculate that this belongs to the slow one), still, they do not mention which category you service belongs to clearly in “contract”. However, the representative will promise you
a three day pick up window through the phone (the phone is monitored and recorded, if they cannot provide the record, it means they are felling guilty). This is actually a way of word game and playing with the confusion through phone and vagueness of the contract.
And this is the first step for them to ask for more money afterwards. I will cite others’ experience here that is even worse: one bought the rush shipping in the first step and this company cannot even make the three day window as in the contract and has 5

http://www.transportreviews.com/review/00181021.asp ). Then I definitely decide to draw from their company. Even if their company seems cheaper than others, but after adding this extra charge for expediting and driver’s extra charge, it will definitely pass
others and even cannot promise the pickup and delivery time. I finally find another company to pickup my car on Thursday and have it delivered on time (I will not mention that company in case people think I am from that company). By comparison, there are following
points I want to mention: 1) The Newway Moving representative never tries to contact dispatch and driver when the customer called to ask for expedite. They simply say that I cannot ensure anything after you paid the deposit and signed the contract. They did
not even answer phones when they know you. Representative from other trustable company is always busy contacting dispatch and drivers and accommodate customer’s pickup time. 2) The Newway Moving asks for deposit before assigning the driver. Indeed, valid shipping
companies should and always asks for initial pay (they do not call it deposit sometimes) after assigning the driver and exact pickup time. 3) The Newway Moving assigned driver may ask for additional money. Indeed, valid shipping companies should and always
deal with these money first with the drivers and then told customer the final charge. During shipping and delivery, there should not be extra charges. 4) Look at your contract carefully to avoid any vagueness including pickup and delivery time and places,
all kinds of charges, and upon delivery check your car carefully and start your car to see the mileage and whether it runs properly. 5) Trustable company’s contract is simple and clear, they give exact time window and charge, and the pickup and delivery is
within the window. Newway Moving’s contract is long and still vague that has many confusing and double meaning points they can ask for more money and hold your deposit. All the experience with Newway Moving makes me have the following feelings: there should
be tons of innocent people be cheated by this cheap price and finally cancel their service with them. And this “Newway Moving” company has very few people and mainly live on the deposit they cheated from customers. Previous victims may be shocked when they
know that this company still exists. And I really want to call relative department’s attention for this “Newway Moving”. I am now still in processing of asking the refund of my deposit and I’ll post this review to every review pages. I’ll even post this to
reviews of other shipping companies, just let people stay away from this company. I am pretty sure that all the 5 star reviews for this company is fake which is probably written by these representatives. Since these representatives really do not work on contacting
drivers and answering customer’s phones. They are ridiculously writing positive reviews! I highly recommend the previous victims union together to file a report to IRS by contacting me. Job# P694292 Representative: Summer Ext. 104
