Poor customer service/will not credit my account for non shipped items

On 12/30/2011 ordered a product. On 01/04/2012 the order had not shipped so I call the company to see if they had a problem. They said it was out of stock. The website stated instock and would ship in 3-5 days. When I called on 01/04/2012 and found out they did not have the item in stock they said they could call the manufacturer to see if it was available I told them do not bather I called the week before and they are out of stock so cancel the order. On 1/16/2012 I called to see why they had not put a credit on my credit card and they said it would be credited 01/27/2012. That's 23 days to credit my account I can do this in a matter of 1 minute in a store. Meanwhile I must pay interest for a canceled order.
The reason they said it would take so long was because they need to make sure nothing was shipped. (shipped? They are out of stock and have known this since 01/04/2012).
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
