In my opinion, my parakeet was mishandled at this vet. I went for a simply nail trim and wasn't allowed inside the facility. They would not take responsibility for their actions and blamed it on me with the car ride going there. The vet Paige Savio said nothing happened to my parakeet while inside their facility even though my parakeet when coming out of their facility was experiencing symptoms of stress. She was "in the learning" phase with birds. My parakeets injuries were a broken collar bone consistent with flying into a wall after being seen by an experienced avian vet. Lesson from the situation - ASK QUESTIONS before letting anyone see your pet!! ESPECIALLY if you're not allowed to go into the facility with them!!! If I had known this vet was not avian trained I would NOT have allowed her to see my bird.
