Deceptive Contracts. Poor Customer Service.

We used Granite Telecommunications to provide data services for our small business. We were located in a mall and instructed that Granite was the preferred supplier. They charged approximately $120/mo for a 1MB data line - which is expensive. However, the biggest issue is their deceptive contracts. They separate their "terms and conditions" from their "letter of agreement". Thus, their fees and penalties are hidden from the contract you sign. If you terminate service, for any reason, they impose an "Early Termination Fee" equal to the remaining length of the contract. Thus, forcing users to maintain service.
