quote regarding safe step tub

I had a quote done for the safe step tub which Pat Boone has a commercial about. There was a man who came out and wrote a price on a piece of paper, no letterhead. Just the price. Came to $15,000 plus. Was not itemized as to what things cost like tub,
labor, parts, etc. Said it would be 192.00 per month for about 7 to 8 years. Didn't even leave the piece of paper with us. He knew we thought it was too much money. He said he would make the first 6 months payments for us. Didn't seem on the up and up. This
is ridiculous. We are going to shop around.
