ECONO AIR RIP OFF - SHAME ON YOU

My hvac condenser fan is not turning last week. The Econo tech came for a diagnostic check, and came back with 3 options. He told me if I want to get it to work only, it will cost $795 with 1 year warranty. If I really want to fix, it will cost me $1,795
with 2 years warranty, and if I want a complete job, it will cost $2,795 with 3 years warranty. I refused to fix so he just wrote down the a/c is bad. After he left and took my $69 for diagnostic charge, I google the problem on the internet and replaced the
capacitor. The new capacitor cost me $11 at an electronic store and it fixed the problem. I don't understand why Econo tried to rip off and took advantage of people. Shame on Econo for allowing this kind of practice!
