I recently got a call from DPW about my warranty on my car. I had a call earlier in the week and was at work and could not talk at that time, so i asked the agent to call me back. Later that evening i received a call and I listened to the presentation and it did make sense. I mean after all my car is 5 years old and near 100,000 miles and may break down. They told me everything that was covered, the benefits and the pricing. Now, they talked about the BBB rating, however the agent i talked to was very clear that the A rating was for the administrator that would be underwriting my policy and not for them. I did look them both up, the admin did have a n A and DPW a F. But, i do know that the BBB is actually a business too, so i read deeper and after reading the complaints about DPW, they seem petty. It almost seems as if people tried to get the warranty to fix their cars. Then all the others is because they bought something and had to wait to get refunded. To sum it up, if you get a policy with State Farm or any other insurance provider, they do not refund your money, this IS insurance you are buying. If you dont want it, dont buy it. In the verification department the agent had told me clearly the wait period, about the fee for canceling the policy and that my payments would be auto withdrawn from my account. So needless to say, they were very professional and honest about their practice. I have yet to use the policy, but i have the piece of mind and that's all these warranty's are anyways, right? In the world we live in it is just impossible to please everyone, but for now i am pleased with my VSC. Thank you DPW and keep up the great work.
