*Customer Beware* Cryptic Studios is the definition of a bait and switch company. They baited their loyal customers into buying multiple copies of the game to get game items that were supposed to be exclusive for purchasing from certain stores. Not even six months after their failed botched launch, they started offering these items for sale on their virtual store which sells items on top of your subscription fee. This same company also sold Lifetime subscriptions to their other game, claiming if you purchased this lifetime sub you would get an exclusive item for their 2nd game, they now sell those "exclusive" items as well, without offering refunds on their original deal. Their worst crime is releasing a game that was not in a launch ready condition, then charging a subscription fee for an incomplete game and using your hard earned money to finish the development of their "game".
Cryptic Studios is the laughing stock of the MMORPG industry, many of the leaders in the industry have publicly called Cryptic Stuidos "an infomercial game company". Ultimately their subscription numbers will tell you all about their business practices, of course they hide those from the public, but playing their game you can see their server is a ghost town. While the server population numbers are secret from the public, they are not hidden from their investors and they haven't been happy seeing the huge drop off numbers between February through April.
