This guy is a joke. We began our process in December of 2009. We were very pressured to send our payments in so they could begin the loan modification process. We were told by several people and in our contract that our money would be refunded if FAVORABLE RSULTS WER NOT OBTAINED. What a crock. We have nothing to show for our efforts. I have numerous emails saved stating that we wanted our money back and the company replied that they were entitled to re submit our file. Well they resubmitted FOUR times. Mortgage company still said we did not qualify. Here it is almost a year later and still no modifications. I called Christopher on his CELL in Sept 2010 and he stated he would get my money back immediately saying that the money should have never gone to HLH Group. However, he still tried, even at that point, to talk me into resubmitting. I very clearly informed him that I just wanted to not be involved with whatever his operation was and wanted my money back. Then about six months in they took $500 more and then I had to wait nearly two months to get that UNATHORIZED charge refunded. I guess I am lucky I got that back. So total I am out $2500. I got several emails from Chris stating he would call me the next day and the last time I heard from him was October 23. I have called several times and got the annoying voice on the answering machine at his office. Sounds like an animated cartoon character. Anyway, still no response. I got a letter from The State Bar of California stating that Disciplinary action will be taken. Good. I hope that he gets what he deserves. This is just wrong. I hope that the Client Security Fund can help refund my money. This has been the last year of going through all these steps and this BOY is a COWARD.
Do the RIGHT thing and sell everything you own to pay everyone back and make your name good. That's what we are all having to do to pay our debts back to save our good names. And you are WILLINGLY and KNOWINGLY thieving. CROOK. His statements or replies to these posts are contradicting as well. Amazing piece of work this boy is.

So finally, after I post this on this website, Cristopher calls me. He tells me he will act on my behalf to get my money from HLH. Funny how this all worked out. My contract was with HLH Group and his name just happens to be on it as well? Legal Modification Firm too? Now he is saying he was never paid and blah blah blah. He said he will try to get my money back but asked in the meantime if I would go on this post and retract it so that it isn't a negative against him. We will see that happen when the refund is in my account. If you are so innocent sir, then why are there so many people saying THE EXACT SAME THING! I think it is sad that it took this negative posting to get a phone call. I am waiting patiently. Like I said, you get me my money back and I will retract the post and then tell everyone what an idiot I am and how great of a business man you are.

So the week after Christopher Persaud called me in response to my original post he said he would get with the firm to find out if my modification went through or not. I was denied four times, remember. I have emailed him several times called his office several times listening to that ridiculous voice on the machine, and still no return phone call or money. BIG SHOCKER!!! Mr Persaud said I needed to retract my post so he could work on my behalf to get my money. He even offered AGAIN to try to modify the loan. no way am I falling for it. You need to get back to reality. You dont do business this way. Sounds crooked to me. Call me. I want my money back. 01-27-2011

T.J., You, yourself, admit that the money was taken by HLH Group. HLH Group also are the people you have been dealing with. So, why do you accuse The Law Office of Christopher Persaud of taking your money. Your accusations are FALSE and YOU KNOW IT. I tried to help you get a refund. Making complaints about me on Trustlink does not help you. It just creates more trouble for everyone.
