I changed employers about 1 year after starting treatment with this practice. My employers both used BCBS for their health provider, but just to be on the safe side I spoke with the practice's billing department to confirm whether or not my deductible changed and they assured me there was no change. About 6 months later the front clerk tried to charge me more than what my deductible should have been and I inquired into it. They were unable to give me any answer, so I ended up having to call my insurance company, track down a supervisor who then explained to me that the deductible was out of network and that when I switched employers that the deductible had, in fact, INCREASED. I then tried to professionally explain my situation to not only the practice's accounting person, but the owner himself who was rude, unprofessional and completely not understanding. I was blown away with how rude he was, especially after being a patient for nearly 2 years. I zeroed out my balance and will NEVER be using them again. It's a shame because they could have had a lifelong patient and referrals from me. I strongly recommend seeking out another practice, so you can avoid any potential issues with these people.
