Review 1/23/2010

Our experience is a LARGE NEGATIVE. This company is a broker. They do not have trucks. They hire truckers to haul the cars for them. I am an Indiana Used Car Dealer. I have used many auto transport brokers over the years. We recently hired them to move a 1999 Dodge Ram Van From a Honda Dealership in Maryland to our Dealership in Indiana. On January 8th, 2010, we agreed to a total payment of 450.00. We put a 150.00 deposit down and were instructed by All Auto Trust Transport to pay the delivery driver by cashiers check or cash the balance of 300.00 upon delivery. On January 22nd(coincedentally,last day of contract),After 14 days went by, Auto Trust contracted to a trucker named David Baker(678-925-0366) to have our van hauled. This trucker called us and said he had our van and would be delivering it on the 23rd. Everything was sounding ok but then the trucker,David Baker called:he said he needed 400.00, not the 300.00 agreed to with Auto Trust Transport. He said he would put the van in storage and subject it to storage fees(!) until we paid(sound like blackmail?). He said 'take it up with the broker'. I called the company, All Auto Trust Transporters, and like other reviews here state, the response was like something out of a Monty Python Movie. They were incoherent, rude, and did not return ANY calls. They are only nice when they charge your credit card. If you read the contract, you will find that they are not liable for anything, ESPECIALLY if they randomly decide to CHARGE YOU MORE WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. We had no choice but to pay or not get the van or pay more later.I am a Rotarian and this company flunks our 4 way test of treating others. Very bad good faith as well. Call us at 765-490-9376. We have them on our recorder with the initial agreed upon price. It is NOT the real 'price' you pay to do business with these crooks. I wouldnt be suprised if many of the positive reviews on this site are by the company itself trying to negate all the negatives.
