Took my blind to the Huntington Beach Store on 6/4/11 for a simple re-string. Was told by the associate it would take 3 days from Monday, 6/6/11. I told her I would be there on Saturday, 6/11 to pick up and she said OK. Showed up at the store at 10 a.m. & there was a paper sign taped to the inside of the door stating they would be closed 6/11 but return on 6/13. Called their customer service immediately and not only could they do nothing but informed me the store was scheduled to be closed on 6/11 & they didn't know why the associate would tell me it was OK to pick up, but no one could do anything then to try to locate my property. Told the rep all I wanted was my blind back & that was all. I was told they would get it scheduled for me to receive it 6/13. Today is 6/13 & I left 2 messages for the customer service rep to call me with no response. Called & finally spoke to another rep & the bottom line is they do not know where my blind is (it's not at the repair facility); even though the paper sign on the store said it would be open 6/13, it is apparently not open; they are trying to reach the store associate via cell phone & email to determine where my blind is & I may or may not get it returned to me as was told to me. During my conversation with the rep today I was told that even though the paperwork shows a due date of 6/4 to 6/9 those dates are not reliable & have no basis in fact. Horrible experience! No one knows what is happening. When you put out so much money for custom blinds, you have a right to expect something in return & this is not what you would expect.
